Og was a giant whose bed was 13 and a half feet long and made of iron, Genesis states. The Petra facade called the Tomb or Treasury is opposite the ‘cleft in the rock’ mentioned in the Bible that Lot and his wife and children fled to from Sodom and Gomorrah when that fault line blew out. Archeologists hauled in scaffolding to repair the Treasury. The longest pipe they could fit through the ‘cleft in the rock’ was 13 and a half feet long which was the same length as Og’s bed. Interestingly, the story above says that OG was 16 feet tall. The facades of Petra have a door opening 40 feet tall and 30 feet across. Blockheads are carved throughout the facade region. The blockheads are negroid and longish. they look just like the Olmec heads in Mexico. Put an Olmec head on a proportionate size body, say about 40 feet or more, and that giant would be right at home in the Petra facades.
